Michael Nkrumah is a postgraduate researcher in Management with the University of Leeds (UK). He holds an MSc Marketing and a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. He is an adjunct lecturer in Marketing with the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration.
Michael has practical experience in research and in organization. From a research front, Michael's major strengths and talents are in research methods and conducting field surveys and managing research teams. He has a rich experience in organizing and conducting structured surveys, observation research and semi-structured interviews.
From the organizational front, Michael managed a startup called SnooCODE, which is an alumnus of the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE), and a winner of the 2014 Vodafone Mobile for Good Project. Working together with lead applicant from Oxford University, Michael was instrumental in helping the start-up secure seed funding from the RAE’s Grand Challenges Research Fund. This was towards piloting a portable toolbox for first response emergency service using SnooCODE powered motorbikes at the Komfo Anokye Emergency Research Center (Ghana) the only one of its kind in West Africa in 2017. The project was carried out together with researchers from the Oxford University, the Ghana National Ambulance Service and researchers from the Komfo Anokye Emergency Research Center.
He likewise has experience in Media Planning with MediaReachOMD. He consults as a media planner for Publicis West Africa and I-Level Media. He has worked on campaigns across Ghana with brands such as Beiersdoff (Nivea), GlaxoSmithKline (Lucozade, Panadol, Sensodyne, Colart),
