Richard Okyere Boapea is a consummate professional, having qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana in 199.1 He has over 28 years of exceptional experience and professional practice both in the public and private sector. Richard Okyere Boapea also holds a Bsc. Accounting and MBA Project Management degrees from the University of Ghana. He started his accounting career as a Principal Accounting Assistant in the University of Ghana and later moved on to become an Accounts manager at Lever brothers, Ghana Ltd. From Lever Brother, he moved to Cadbury Ghana Limited as a Senior Accounts Manager and later a Finance Manager in the same organisation. He moved from Cadbury to become the Deputy Finance Officer in the University of Ghana and subsequently, Deputy Director of Finance and the Director of Finance in the same organisation. In almost all the organisations Richard Okyere Boapea worked, he quickly became key in helping the organisation to restructure it finance unit from a standard accounting and finance unit for keeping and report information to that of a mission critical and strategic unit on which the success of the organisation was anchored. His experience, skill and intelligence is key to pursuing the strategic vision of AiKEN Institute.
